Abstract

Sinochem New Network News On April 20, the Paint Coating Professional Committee of the China Chemical Industry Association and the National Paint Industry Information Center released a preliminary report on the statistical results of the powder coating industry in 2023 to all member units in the industry. According to the comprehensive analysis of the sales volume of polyester resin, epoxy resin, additives, curing agent, NPG, etc. and the development of downstream industries, the sales volume of thermosetting powder coating in 2023 in China 2.484 million about 6 tons, up 8% over the previous year.

In 2023, the sales volume of polyester resin for powder coatings of representative enterprises in China increased by 12.6 compared with the same period last year, sales decreased by 0.5 compared with the same period last year, and the average price of polyester resin decreased by about 1468 yuan/ton compared with the same period last year.

In 2023, the sales volume of epoxy resin for powder coatings of representative enterprises in China increased by 0.7, the sales volume increased by 2.3, and the average price of epoxy resin increased by about 289 yuan/ton.
